2.12.09 - PTRJMS BECOMES AN OFFICIAL PARTICIPANT OF SAKURA MATSURI AT THE NATIONAL CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL!
Akiba Fest is proud to announce that Pop The Rock Japan Music Showcase has become an official participant of the Sakura Matsuri Street Festival at the National Cherry Blossom Festival. A crowd of over 150,000 attendees of the Sakura Matsuri Street Festival on April 4th in Washington DC will have the chance to meet the Entertainers of PTRJMS before the big concert later that same night at UMD which is only a short metro ride away. More info on the Entertainers appearance at Sakura Matsuri will be posted very soon. The Sakura Matsuri Street Festival is the nation's largest Japanese festivals and is put on by the Japan-American Society of Washington DC. Spring into the Sakura season J-Music style! Akiba Fest will hold our fourth concert event on April 4, 2009 at our new bigger location at the University of Maryland's Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center in College Park, MD. We have listened to your important input and have taken action to make our next show bigger and better than ever.
